Where: Online Self-Study

Who Should Attend: The target audience for this self-care course is beginning and seasoned PreK -12  educators and other school personnel (principals, school counselors, early childhood directors and coordinators, teachers, educational aides, coaches, nurses, social workers, therapists, etc.) who are committed to making self-care a priority.

Learner Outcomes: In this workshop, you will learn how incorporating small changes can help you reduce stress and anxiety, improve your mental health, prevent illness and avoid burnout.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define self-care.
  • Describe the five domains of self-care.
  • Network and build social support.
  • Write short-term and long-term self-care smart goals.
  • Utilize strategies to develop a personal self-care plan.

Cost: $259 per participant

Credit: 3.0 (37.5 hours) graduate-level extension credit in semester hours available through the University of San Diego for an additional $237

This self-study course will help participants assess current self-care strategies and identify needs improvement areas for better work/life balance. Participants will learn practical strategies to create short and long-term smart goals and develop a personal self-care plan.
